Maybe it was the same preview thing that was posted in NME over here then. At least they have confimed that they will tour Australia this year at some point.
Am sure they will do festivals again this year! once the album is recorded they will have time before its due out to hit the road again

I went to Splendour (one of the greatest Australian festivals and i will not be able to go this year because of stupid exams, grrr :x ) just to see them, because it was about one of the only all ages gigs (I still had to take my Dad). But I know there was some in Sydney cause a friend went to see them.

Being underage in Australia sucks in terms of seeing bands due to what I once heard called "Australia's draconian liquor laws". It sucks even more if you dont live in Sydney/Melbourne. Less than a year till I'm 18.... sigh.

Cant wait for them to come back!

I can't remember if the gig they did in adelaide was all ages or not (I reckon I may've been 17 at the time :p)... for some reason I recall seeing some kids with their parents, but that may've been for another gig I can't remember. And I think at the entrance they gave the older kids wrist bands so they could purchase drinks. We never got asked for IDs either. But any underage gigs artists do are usually in melbourne/syndey as they spend more than 1 day in those cities!

The Wombats are in LA again recording Tord Twittered this earlier:

so that track can be added along side Vampire and wolves, plus another 2 tracks which was compleated 1st time round recording this album.

The lads also tweeted this on saturday (10th july), "Recording in LA. Sounding like Depeche Mode buggering The Wombats, whilst Tord's 'bungee sack' watches in envy eating chicken chow fun fat x"
